Superfood Oat Bowl

To make this superfood breakfast bowl, cook the following in a pan over medium heat:

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup blueberries, frozen or fresh

  • 1 cup of water

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla

Top with:

  • Raw walnuts

  • Ground flax seeds, golden or regular (For maximum health benefit, be sure to use ground flax, as whole flax is not well-absorbed.)

  • Chopped dates

If desired, top with a teaspoon or two of maple syrup for added sweetness.
